[MANILA, PHILIPPINES] Be Part of an Art in ART IN ISLAND - A 3D Museum in Quezon City

Some museums will allow you to take photos, some will not. However, there are plenty of museums that will encourage you to take unlimited photos, one example is the 3D Art museum located in Cubao, Quezon City named ART IN ISLAND.

Art in Island was founded by Yun Jae Kyoung and his partners, with 14 3D artists from Korea working on all the stunning paintings in the museum that you can touch, interact with and be part of it.

The 3D Museum in Cubao is actually one of the biggest 3D interactive art museums in the world, with lifelike wall-to-floor artworks surely, you’ll have a great time with whomever, you bring with you!

Here’s how you can get there:
FROM CAMANAVA/NOVALICHES/SM NORTH
Ride a bus or the MRT to get to Cubao Farmers. From there, walk towards the jeepney terminal to Rosario, which is a few meters behind Smart Araneta Coliseum and in front of Mercury Drug. Ride the jeepney going to Rosario-Citibank and tell the driver to drop you off at Art in Island along 15th Avenue.

FROM SM FAIRVIEW/COMMONWEALTH
Ride a jeepney plying Lagro Cubao and tell the driver to drop you off exactly at Art in Island.

FROM TAFT MRT STATION/PASAY/MAKATI
Ride the MRT to get to Cubao MRT Station. From there, walk towards the jeepney terminal to Rosario. Ride a jeepney going to Rosario-Citibank and tell the driver to drop you off at Art in Island along 15th Avenue.

FROM BUENDIA/PASAY/MAKATI
Ride a bus going to SM Fairview get down at Cubao Farmer’s Market. From there walk straight to Cubao Expo (former Marikina Shoe Expo), from there you can enter from the back entrance of Art in Island.

But if you’re willing to spend some extra cash, you can ride a taxi or Grab to the museum.

Art in Island is unlike any museum, you have to interact and take photos. So here are some tips for you to get the full experience:

1. Leave your shoes, and bring extra socks. Technically, you need shoes to go to places, but once you enter Art in Island you need to leave your shoes, wear your socks or go barefoot. The 3D museum doesn’t allow shoes inside to protect the paintings since you are interacting with many ceiling-to-floor paintings, you need to remove them, but if you don’t want to go barefoot you can wear your socks, you can also bring your own bedroom slippers at the entrance. But you forgot one, there are socks and slippers for sale at the entrance.

2. Make time. There are 180+ 3D Paintings covering 2 floors. To fully explore the whole place you have to make time for at least 2-3 hours. You can stay longer if you like.

3. Be creative & imagine your shots. The paintings in the Museums are 3D before taking the shot, imagine how you would like the photo would.

4. Pose the Part. After you imagine your shot you have to pose or act the part like the paintings to make yourself look like you belong with the painting.

5. Find the point of shoot. Now you want to take a photo of your friend or family member that is acting the part, why not look for an angle, a vantage point or what Art in Island called Photo point to make the final photo to look more natural.

Are you tempted to go? Art in Island is open Tuesday –Thursday & Sunday at 09:30-20:30, Friday - Saturday 09:30-21:30. However, they are closed during Mondays.

Ticket Prices cost PHP500.00 for adults, PHPH400.00 for students, senior citizens and PWDs (Don’t forget to bring your ID to avail the discount.) Children below 3 feet and birthday celebrants are free! An additional PHP200.00 if you want to enter their Hiwaga Art Zone.

Now here are short reminders for the visitors:
  • No Food & Drinks. If you got hungry or thirsty you can drop by at their restaurant at the first floor. You can re-enter again from there if you’d like.
  • Turn off your camera flash, since it will affect the illusion that the 3D paintings bring.
  • Bring a jacket or a cardigan it might get cold during the tour
  • No tripod.
  • No Pets.

And lastly don’t forget to HAVE FUN!

  1. Well, if you are thinking to use some natural and best quality treats for your pets at that time I'll suggest you for using calming treats for dogs because these are the best dog treats. Again there is no doubt that if you can use these treats then you can use them without anykind of hesitation.
