Japan
will relax on October its border restrictions aimed at controlling the spread
of the novel coronavirus to allow entry for new visa applicants other than
tourists from all regions. Effective 01 October 2020, Japan will allow entering
Foreign nationals with valid residence statuses, some newcomers in urgent
situations as well as certain visa applicants whose families live in Japan or
whose presence is necessary for their employer to continue business operations.
The relaxed border control measures, which will come into force on Thursday,
will apply to new residents with permission to stay for more than three months,
regardless of where they come from.

1. All inbound passengers (except Japanese Nationals) are required to present a valid Negative PCR test result conducted w/in 72 hours before departure.

All inbound passengers need to self-quarantine for 14 days and refrain from
using public transportation.

For Business travelers, the receiving enterprise must first submit a written
pledge assuring to present PCR test result upon arrival, 14 days quarantine and
refrain public transportation.
4.
The Number of entrants will still be within a limited range.
