[BRUNEI; THAILAND] Unfold the Beauty of Brunei and Thailand

Siam Niramit Show is one of the Best Theater Shows in Thailand

Have you ever tried going to a destination unexpectedly? I have always been dreaming to go to a different place that I never been through. We are going to a certain point in our lives that we want to do or make the impossible things possible.

Brunei and Thailand give you the vibes to discover new things: their culture, preserved temples and mosques, authentic foods, and beautiful scenery.

I once came to Brunei and Thailand for a familiarization trip last 2019. The purpose of this visit was to familiarize the place that I handled as a travel agent. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time and keep nothing but memories.

FEATURED PLACES AND THINGS TO DO:

Temple of Pho or Wat Po

Temple of Pho or Wat Po

WAT PHO

Our first destination was Wat Pho. It is the oldest and largest temple complex in Bangkok. It houses more than 1,000 Buddha images which are more than any other Wat in Thailand. The temple is right behind the Emerald Buddha, it’s a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. Grand Palace is just 10 minutes walk in Wat Pho.

Icom Siam

ICON SIAM

Next, a mall that opened last November 2018, called Icon Siam, was accessible via ferry. Icon Siam is a mixed-use development on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. It includes one of the largest shopping malls in Asia. Icon Siam is also known as the Grandest Mall in Thailand.

Experience Pearl Cruising in Thailand

 WONDERFUL PEARL CRUISE

Before we go back to the hotel and end our first day, we scheduled a dinner in Wonderful Pearl Cruise. Upon aboard in the Wonderful Cruise, you will be bewildered with their beautiful scenery as you witnessed the Temples along the river like Wat Arun and the Grand Palace.

Indulge yourself to their appetizing dinner buffet. They also have a live band inside the cruise and I was amazed that the performers were Filipino.

SAFARI WORLD

Day 2 and the first stop was to visit Safari World. The Zoo suited for all ages and it surely will let you enjoy different kinds of animals that roam freely in the big hectares land. But before we roam around the area, we are advised that we are not allowed to open the window or go outside our vehicle for safety purposes. It was a great experience especially for those who are animal lovers.

Sealife Ocean World in Bangkok

SEALIFE BANGKOK OCEAN WORLD

As you enter Sealife Ocean World in Bangkok, you will be fascinated by the hundred marine species and thousands of sea creatures. And it’s also known as one of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia.

Madame Tussauds, Bangkok Thailand

MADAME TUSSAUDS in BANGKOK

After Sealife Ocean World you have an option to visit Madame Tussauds in Bangkok. As it is one of the famous museums in the world, discover the life-size replicas of the famous international and local icons of History, Music Arts and Sports that were featured inside the museum.

Line Village, Bangkok Thailand

Line Village, Bangkok Thailand

 LINE VILLAGE

Line Village Bangkok is located at Siam Square. You must pass through a tunnel to end your journey. And in every Village has a great spot to take great photos. On your way out, you’ll see a pile of souvenir shops where you can buy.

Siam Niramit Show, Bangkok, Thailand. One of the best and favorite shows of the country.

SIAM NIRAMIT

We held our dinner at Siam Niramit. Upon our arrival in Siam Niramit, we have our dinner and proceeded to a show where it features their history and local lifestyle.

LET’S RELAX (THAI MASSAGE)

On our last day in Bangkok, I didn’t miss the experience to try the famous Thai Massage. It was a relaxing and unforgettable moment for me.

ANCIENT CITY
Before we head off to the airport, our last destination to visit was The Ancient City. It features the Historic Temples and Buddha inside the City.

Jame 'Ash Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Brunei

JAME' 'ASR HASSANIL BOLKIAH

Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah is one of the largest mosques in the country. The mosques have 29 golden domes. When we paid a visit to the mosques, we weren’t allowed entry inside because on a Thursday they need to clean the mosques for the preparation of their mass.

ISTANA NURUL IMAN

Istana Nurul Iman is the name of the palace where the Sultan and Royal families of Brunei lived.

Royal Regalia Museum, Brunei

ROYAL REGALIA MUSEUM

Royal Regalia Museum features coronation of the Sultan and showcases different exhibitions of the Royal Families. You need to remove your sandals or shoes before entering the Museum. You may also purchase souvenirs inside and they also accept Philippine Peso.

Our final destination was the Brunei River. We experience to ride the Water Taxi to roam around in Brunei River. While we are heading to the airport, we stop at the mall to buy our “pasalubong”.
