20, 2019 - RAKSO Travel one of the largest travel agencies in the Philippines
celebrated its 20th anniversary in Fairmont Hotel, Makati City. The event is
joined by RAKSO Group, RAKSO Holdings, RAKSO Australia, RAKSO CT, AVIA RH,
and Philippine Airlines. Five tourism organizations such as the Philippines’
Department of Tourism (DOT), Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), Japan National
Tourism Organization (JNTO), Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and Hong Kong
Tourism Board (HKTB) also joined the event, including 18 trusted partners
worldwide.
Founded
in 1999, RAKSO Travel pioneered in promoting Philippine tourist destinations
like Cebu, Boracay, Bohol, and Palawan to the elite Korea market, and since then
developed and supplied international and domestic tourism throughout the Philippines and worldwide as a premium agency, may it be through the land, air or
sea travel. Two years later, in 2001 it became the first Korean travel agency
in the Philippines to become an accredited member of the International Air
Transport Association (IATA). In 2011, another milestone in Rakso Travel’s
continuing commitment to provide services that meet global quality standards as
ISO 9001:2008 QMS compliant certified.

RAKSO Travel continues to offer destinations in Asia and Oceania now expanding
its horizons to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. With the
continuous successful outbound operations in the Philippines, RAKSO is making
efforts to expand new tourist destinations for travelers who love adventure and
experience new things thus developed an online booking system and carrying out
various projects for continuous online travel business. Also, the company operates a head office in Makati along with 8 branches in Binondo, Boracay, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Ilo Ilo, Manila, and Pampanga which are
major areas in the Philippines.
About
500 guests attended the anniversary party, including Chairman & CEO of
Rakso Holdings Co. Ltd. (Korea) and Chairman of Rakso Travel (Philippines) Mr.
Ok Jung; President of Rakso Holdings Co., Ltd. (Korea) Mr. Jin Woo Jung; RaksoTravel President and COO, Mr. Dong Seol Kim; and Rakso Travel Vice President
and General Manager Mr. Ju Man Park. Executives and employees attended the
event with various performances and a dinner to celebrate the 20th anniversary
of its foundation.
Earlier the program President and COO of Rakso Travel, Mr. Dong Seol Kim also delivered in his speech “First of all let's glorify our Lord for 20 years of success and for making us realize that travel is a blessing of God and we also thank our industry partners and Raksonians for supporting each other to brighten this very remarkable moment, especially our Chairman, Mr. Jung Ok, we greatly appreciate his endless trust and inspiration.”
